DCS 2 Way Radio Provides Communications for Rugby World Cup
DCS 2 Way Radio Ltd is proud to be supplying two way radio communication for The 2015 Rugby World Cup at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.
The stadium, usually the home of Manchester City Football Club, is hosting the England vs Uruguay match for its Rugby World Cup fixture on 10th October 2015.
Alan Platt, director of DCS 2 Way Radio, says:
“We are supplying over 180 digital Motorola DP4400 hand portable radios for the event, covering all areas of communication from Operations to the medical team.”
The company’s experience in radio communications has been vital in ensuring the event runs smoothly. The radios will operate on an 8-channel Mototrbo system designed to provide coverage in and around the stadium.
“We supply two way radios for many sporting events, large and small, but I’m a huge rugby fan so it’s really exciting to be involved with this prestigious event.”
